CIFD members believe it is our responsibility and duty to provide for the families we serve from our first contact and throughout the entire funeral regardless of the type of service chosen.

CIFD members are professional and caring individuals who are responsive to people of all religions, cultures and means.

The services CIFD members provide to families are in keeping with the ethics and ideals of the funeral profession for both traditional and contemporary rites.

CIFD members offer staff, facilities and expertise as resources to the community.

When the funeral is over, CIFD members know it is equally important to offer ongoing support to bring about healing and a new beginning in the lives of surviving family members.

The Chicagoland Independent Funeral Directors was established by concerned funeral service professionals who wanted to continue the traditions of serving their communities through independently owned and operated funeral homes.
